Axión finalist of the prestigious British Credits Awards, the European awards in the risk sector

José Carlos Antequera Roa, management controller in Axion´s Financial and Purchasing Department has been shortlisted as finalist for the “Rising Star of the Year” category, it is the second time that a Spaniard has reached this recognition.

The British Credit Awards are held annually in the United Kingdom and are awarded by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), the Europe’s largest credit association.

The nominated project, that deals with the credit management`s functions, was encouraged by the change that took place in Axion´s credit risk management as a result of an improvement project defined in 2014.

After the evaluation by an expert committee of the CICM and the designation for the list of finalists, the prizes were awarded at a ceremony held in London on February 7, where José Carlos was present.

The annual CICM British Credit Awards is the most important one in the credit and collections industry and promotes excellence and best-practices. Nominated finalists are recognized with an official logo to use in company communications. This logo certifies the outstanding performance and innovation demonstrated in the projects.
