On November 11, the Seville City Council met at FIBES with around twenty technology companies participating in the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS), with the aim of promoting Seville as a major business hub.
Antonio Muñoz, Seville City Council’s Delegate for Urban Habitat, Culture, and Tourism, explained that the objective is to build a public-private partnership that will encourage investment in the city related to innovation, technology, and tourism.
The City Council is making land, business development opportunities, facilities, municipal buildings, and the city’s innovation ecosystem—made up of universities and technology parks—available to companies.
Each company will be required to inform the City Council of the type of partnership it can offer, whether through investment, activities focused on tourism innovation, or the training of employees and executives.
In addition to Axión, the companies participating included Ametic, CaixaBank, Amadeus, Mabrian Technologies, Huawei, Orange, Bosch, Evolutio, EY, Accenture, Deloitte, Telefónica, Cloudbeds, ForwardKeys, Globant, Minsait, GMV, Cibernos, and MB3-Gestión.
