Lights-on presentation at Greencities

On 21 and 22 September, Axión took part in the Greencities forum, held at FYCMA – MÁLAGA EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE CENTRE, where it presented its Smart and IoT solutions and platforms.

Greencities is the meeting point for companies, professionals, institutions and public authorities dedicated to the development of sustainable and smart cities.

This year’s event, under the slogan ‘FOLLOW US TO THE NEW ERA’, focused on raising awareness of global sustainability, bringing together all stakeholders – both companies and public authorities – to share knowledge and propose solutions.

Among its highlighted projects, Axión presented its latest success story in Alcalá la Real (Jaén), where it has deployed Lights-on, its smart lighting solution for monitoring and controlling the energy efficiency of the town’s street lighting.

Lights-on is one of Axión’s developed vertical solutions, consisting of an adaptive lighting system that adjusts according to environmental variables (traffic, light levels, cloud cover, weather conditions) with specific safety features, and enables control via control panels and point-to-point connections through a horizontal platform. It is a system that is agnostic to manufacturers and communication technologies (PLC, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT).
