Axión at DIGITAL TOURIST 2019. This event, organized by AMETIC, took place in Benidorm on October 17 and 18 and was attended by the top leaders in the sector related to Digital Enabling Technologies, both the business sector and public administrations, being a meeting point that stimulated networking and the exchange of ideas and experiences, showing the initiatives that are currently being developed in our country.

Axión, as a facilitator of solutions for Smart Cities and IoT, technology necessary for the development of Intelligent Tourism, sponsored this event.

With 10 discussion tables, 54 speakers and more than 300 attendees, topics related to the National Intelligent Territory Program (DTI), platforms and systems for tourist intelligence, innovative public purchasing, big data and artificial intelligence, intelligent mobility, accessible tourism, etc. were discussed.

This event had the support and participation of the highest positions of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, with the acting minister, Reyes Maroto being at the opening ceremony. Also attending were the Mayor of Benidorm, Antonio Pérez, the Secretary of Tourism of the Community of Valencia, Francesc Colomer, the President of the Alicante Town Council, Carlos Mazón, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Isabel Maria Oliver.
