{"id":23109,"date":"2022-06-02T12:23:25","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T12:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.axion.es\/?p=23109"},"modified":"2026-10-02T09:59:06","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T09:59:06","slug":"we-are-helping-to-improve-security-in-el-puerto-de-santa-maria-as-part-of-its-smart-city-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.axion.es\/en\/we-are-helping-to-improve-security-in-el-puerto-de-santa-maria-as-part-of-its-smart-city-project\/","title":{"rendered":"We are helping to improve security in El Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda as part of its Smart City project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of May, it was announced that Axi\u00f3n, in a joint venture with Amper, had been awarded the contract to supply the equipment and software required to set up a Communications Command and Control Centre at the port headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>This is a comprehensive public safety and surveillance project integrated into a critical control room incident management platform for handling calls from members of the public, which includes a digital radio communications system for police operations and a video surveillance system using high-resolution cameras.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will enable incident management and will be integrated with other applications, such as the 112 emergency service, the Local Police\u2019s private DMR digital radio communications system and a Geographic Information System (GIS), thereby enabling real-time monitoring of available resources to manage any incidents that may arise more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>This Local Police command and communications control centre will improve and enhance security throughout the municipality, providing access to a comprehensive, high-performance surveillance network and a call-handling platform for members of the public that is integrated with the radio communications network.
