{"id":23076,"date":"2025-04-09T10:42:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T10:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.axion.es\/?p=23076"},"modified":"2026-10-02T07:57:54","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T07:57:54","slug":"axion-and-the-university-of-seville-sign-an-agreement-to-promote-innovation-and-training-in-telecommunications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.axion.es\/en\/axion-and-the-university-of-seville-sign-an-agreement-to-promote-innovation-and-training-in-telecommunications\/","title":{"rendered":"Axi\u00f3n and the University of Seville Sign an Agreement to Promote Innovation and Training in Telecommunications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>This partnership will foster talent, generate innovation, and address the technological challenges of the future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University of Seville and Axi\u00f3n have formalized a collaboration agreement to promote joint initiatives aimed at developing research projects, training activities, and scientific outreach.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by Araceli Garc\u00eda, CEO of Axi\u00f3n, and Manuel Felipe Rosa, Vice Rector for Knowledge Transfer at the University of Seville.<\/p>\n<p>Following the signing of the agreement, Axi\u00f3n executives and the leadership of the University of Seville\u2019s Higher Technical School of Engineering held an initial meeting to define the lines of action to be carried out following the establishment of this new institutional relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Axi\u00f3n, an Andalusian company headquartered in Valencina de la Concepci\u00f3n with a staff of more than 150 professionals, has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Its products include radio and television broadcasting services, infrastructure hosting and sharing at its more than 600 sites, and emergency networks, such as the digital network of the Regional Government of Andalusia. It also provides backhaul services for mobile networks through a network comprising more than 8,000 radio links and long-distance connectivity with more than 5,700 km of fiber-optic cable.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement signed between Axi\u00f3n and the University of Seville establishes a framework for cooperation and the development of activities aimed at promoting the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering and the Master\u2019s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, both offered at the Higher Technical School of Engineering, in the following key areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and Development: through the joint implementation of innovative technology projects.<\/li>\n<li>Academic Training: through scholarships, internships, and undergraduate\/master\u2019s thesis projects.<\/li>\n<li>Outreach and Knowledge Sharing: through courses, conferences, and activities that contribute to the mutual transfer of knowledge between the academic and business sectors, creating a collaborative ecosystem that drives the development of innovative solutions to address emerging technological challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through this partnership agreement, Axi\u00f3n further strengthens its social commitment by promoting initiatives that have an impact on the technological and social landscape, thereby enhancing the employability of graduates from these programs.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis agreement with the University of Seville allows us to stay at the forefront of the latest technologies and prepares us to continue offering the best service to our clients, anticipating their needs and providing efficient, forward-looking solutions.
